Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need To Know Before You Get Started
1. Do I need AI experience to use PedagogyPro?
No. If you can attach a file to an email, you can use PedagogyPro. Every prompt has clear [BRACKETED PLACEHOLDERS] that tell you exactly what to fill in. Most teachers get a useful output in their first session.
2. Will this actually work with my syllabus — or is it just generic AI content?
This is the most important question and the honest answer is: it depends on how you use it. Generic AI prompts produce generic results. PedagogyPro prompts are designed to work with your uploaded syllabus document — NESA, VCAA, QCAA, or ACARA. When you upload your actual curriculum documents, the output is specific to your subject, your year level, and your outcomes. That is the entire point of the system.
3. Which AI tools does it work with?
Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini. If your school already subscribes to any of these, PedagogyPro works inside the tool you already have. No new software required.
4. How much time will I actually save?
Teachers using PedagogyPro consistently report saving five or more hours per week once they have the system set up. The biggest time savings come from report comments, differentiated task sets, and lesson planning. The first session takes around 15 minutes to set up. Every session after that is faster.
5. What can I actually produce with PedagogyPro?
Lesson plans, unit programs, PowerPoint outlines, student workbooks, differentiated tasks at three ability levels, assessment tasks, marking rubrics, exam papers, revision booklets, report comments, SLSO briefing sheets, IEP-aligned adjustments, and parent communication letters. All mapped to your uploaded syllabus documents.
6. Is this cheating or academically dishonest?
No. Using AI to produce a first draft of a lesson plan is no different from using a planning template, a textbook unit overview, or a colleague's program as a starting point. You are still the professional making every pedagogical decision. PedagogyPro handles the production work — you apply the expertise.
7. What is the difference between the free guide, the Core Library, and the KLA Packs?
The free guide teaches you how to set up the input-document system and walks you through your first three workflows. The Core Library contains 50 ready-to-use prompts across eight chapters covering every major teaching task. KLA Packs are subject-specific add-ons with prompts mapped to your exact syllabus — English, Science, Mathematics, PDHPE, and more. Start with the free guide. Buy the Core Library when you are ready to go deeper.
8. Does my school need to approve this before I use it?
For individual teacher use, no. PedagogyPro prompts work inside AI tools you likely already have access to — there is nothing to install and no school data is shared with PedagogyPro. For the School Licence, yes — that involves an invoice and formal onboarding, so your PD coordinator or principal would need to be involved.
9. Is there a school licence and what does it include?
Yes. The School Licence is $499 per year for unlimited staff access. It includes the full prompt library, all KLA Packs, a live two-hour whole-staff PD workshop, AITSL-aligned professional learning documentation for every staff member, monthly new content, and dedicated coordinator support. Invoices and purchase orders accepted.
